About Rock

Back in the 1970's, I was the lead singer of "Rock & The Sharks" from the "Alley' s Of Detroit"  I soon became the "gang leader"  and changed the name of the band to "Rock's Gang". Traveling across the USA and Canada, we performed concerts at auditoriums, state fairs, Midwest prairie bars, and  even at The Autorama. 

        "Rock's Gang also had the honor of opening for some of the biggest names of that era including The Platters, Danny & The Juniors, Chubby Checker, Freddie "Boom Boom" Cannon, Dolly Parton, The Statler Brothers, Crystal Gayle, Ronnie Milsap, Red Skeleton, many many other rock bands, too many to mention! 

          After touring many years with Rocks Gang, I settled down and all but retired from performing. Then a friend of mine,  who worked in the tribute artist industry, approached me about performing a tribute as Johnny Cash, in one of his shows. As a part of Rocks Gang, I would often do impressions of some of my idols. Knowing this he approached me and I decided to give it a try. After that several other promoters  hired me and I've been doing my tribute ever since.  My stage name was and still Is, Rock Harley!
